Viv joined Scotinform in November 2023 and brings with her a wealth of experience in market research and digital marketing. With over 20 years across private and public sector roles, her adaptability is the trait that makes her a great all-round researcher.

She has strong experience in the culture, tourism and leisure sectors, and uses her digital marketing experience to understand what really makes people tick. Viv has also taught Tourism and Business Management to FE College students, and in quick response to the 2020 lockdown, she designed and led online digital marketing courses to help people in the hospitality sector to upskill, and be business-ready.

Viv lives in the Scottish Borders (and likes to point out that she’s on the sunny side of the Eildon Hills!), and when she’s not romping around the countryside with her dogs, Cricket and Duffle, you will normally find her with her nose in a book. She writes a ‘Bookstagram’ blog in her spare time, and loves the challenge of finding the perfect read for her family and friends.

Viv graduated in 2003 with a first class BA (Hons) in Tourism Management.
