Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
Scotinform has worked with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh for a number of years carrying out visitor research at each of the four Gardens: Edinburgh, Benmore, Dawyck and Logan.
In the last year the research programme has concentrated on the three regional gardens. The visitor research at each of the three regional gardens consists of an annual programme of quanitiative research carried out through self-completion questionnaires targeted at visitors through members of the Ranger service. The number of questionnaires handed out in any given month was calculated on the previous year's visitor figures in that month. The research has highlighted high satisfaction amongst visitors at all Gardens so if you are ever nearby any of the gardens, be sure to go and take a look! We will be continuing to work on visitor research at the three regional gardens throughout 2010/2011.
Visitor research at the Edinburgh Garden was placed on hold while the new John Hope Gateway, RBGE's new biodiversity and information centre, was constructed. The Gateway is now open to the public and we will commence new visitor research at Edinburgh this Summer. Make sure you take a trip to visit the Gateway and the Garden this Summer!
